  hi all.. i'm 42 years old.

  i have had two jabs of the oxford-astrazeneca vaccine.. after my first jab i experienced flu-like symptoms - shivering, wanted to lie down in a dark room, etc.. i experienced no side effects after my second shot.. how about you?.

  how many jabs have you had?.

  2 x AstraZeneca - no noticeable effects. Pfizer in the same household, no ill-effects.

  did you ever reach a point in field service , you knew you were lying to people ?

  just before the pandemic , i had an encounter with a witness and i didn't let on who i was or my past.

  i just very politely listened to his nonsense.

  Elderstuckin, I feel your pain. I would guess you are held prisoner by having been woven in to the fabric of the org by marriage children etc, extended family. The quiet, insidious entrapment.

  so, we have put together the "original" watchtower magazines for download.

  the reprints can be used for extras.

  I Don't think the jw kids today are afraid of the Elders or the Governing Body, like the jw kids of pre-internet era.

  something i've notice with born in jw kids posting on reddit, is that they have no problem telling off the elders.

  this generation of born in jw kids just have no fear of who the elders represent because they know from researching on the internet, that jehovah is a created character by ancient people, and no different or real, than thanos.. these kids know exactly what's going on with the child sexual abuse in the organization.

  they also have read and memorized the elder's book online.

  i keep hearing that the watchtower org is going to be around forever because of the many other religions that have been around a long time.

  but i disagree because the wt is not like other religious cults.. the watchtower's breath of life is dependent on the last days that started in 1914. .

  you can’t change 1914 without a death blow to the entire organization.. the watchtower's 2nd reason for staying alive, is it's continual urging that the life saving preaching work of warning people is the most important work ever.. but- it's very obvious to many, even the old ones that instead of speeding up the work------the work is slowing down to a drip.. comment by former believer; .

  Reason why fancy dress up parties were totally band!

  we had a fancy dress up party in our congregation.

  elders special pioneers and many others came, though some came as cowboys and pirates with guns and swords which was not in line with the watchtowers "beat your swords into plough sheers.

  " some sisters were belly dancers....yes they exposed their stomachs.....shock horror!

  I remember a party I went to where someone dressed up as a bible character, Satan. He wore horns, a tail the lot.

  It went down very well, caused a lot of laughs.

  A few weeks later the CS talked about it at a CA. We were the worst cases of depravity he ever encountered. Most of us were pioneers. I should have got the message then. It would have saved so much grief.

  I honestly think that antivaxers are as deluded as JW zealots. I have a close relative in an elderly care home in which Covid got in. 17 died as a direct result.

  How many do I know who have had any negative vax effects other tan temporary 24 hour fever? None at all.
